Why you crushin’?: like I said, she’s the best email buddy around. I forget who added whom first on LiveJournal, or how long ago that even was; it feels as though we’ve been friends for years upon years, though, and I love that. We slowly bonded over just liking the same near-generic things, then realized we’ve both been in love with Ronnie Spector for ages. Now we gush over girl groups, the sixties, New Kids on the Block, Spice World, The Baby-Sitters Club, and all things cute. And then, we had an hours-long text-chat last Friday that officially put me over the moon about her. We began initial plans for a visit to Georgia (by me), and I really can’t wait for that to happen!
I am thrilled to be featured on your blog, but even more than that, I am thrilled to have someone I can gush over girl groups, The Baby-Sitters Club series, Nickelodeon shows on DVD, NKOTB slumber parties, and roller derby/skate dates with.
For the first time in a long, long while, I feel like I have the kind of friend I had in middle school (my closest BFF to date). And, I feel like I should make you a friendship bracelet, or get us those matching “Best Friends” necklaces, where you wear one half of a sterling silver heart and I wear the other.
The point is: I’m the Vice-President of The Jazzy Jam fan club. You are the Joey to my Mac. We are “EFFs” — email friends forever (and ever and ever and ever… and one day IRL)!

You are the sweetest that ever lived, girl!! I am so happy to have you as my Crush this week and for always. This summer will totally rule when we finally get to meet in real life and act like total goofballs over Nickelodeon (how could I forget our bonding over that?!?!)
I haven’t had one of those best friends charms in so long!! I would be so honored to wear your other half. And, in case I don’t express it enough, I totally feel the same way about our friendship. Sure, it’s just “e-” right now, but I know it’ll be everlasting.
