Why you crushin’?: well, we’ve been e-flirting for months and finally had our first real-life, one-on-one, hang-sesh-date last night! It was glorious. There were chips and Twisted Cheetos, ice cream sandwiches and Chocolate Cupcake Tastykakes, Sunshine Cleaning (a movie we’d planned on seeing together in theatres) and Labyrinth (a movie I told her I’d never seen; this declaration sent her straight into cardiac arrest). Mostly, though, there was just hours of talking. Such a refreshing, cathartic release of pent-up insecurities and confusions and adorations and unlikely crushings. It’s like we’d been best friends all along, but were finally meeting for the first time. I’m oozing with anticipation for our next get-together.
