Hannah Metz.

I am actually writing this on November 25th because I was struck like lightning with who I wanted to feature as my final Ginger of the Month for the year of oh-nine, and I felt great words bubbling over in my brain that needed release. There’s nothing worse for a writer than forgetting the initial verbal feeling you had, and I didn’t want to crap a post together for this lovely lady a week from now without any fanciful sentences.

I’d come across Hannah Kristina McMillan years ago (was it five? has it really been that many, or maybe more?) on LiveJournal. At the time, she was long-distance dating this boy named Landon Metz (whom she met through her very journal!) while shacking up in the big country north of mine. She’d already had a huge online presence for the simple fact that she was beautiful, took equal amounts of beautiful and goofy photographs of herself and friends and family, and never took her e-popularity too seriously. She’d reply to every single person who wrote to her and try her best to follow the lives of everyone who followed hers.

Now, Landon is her husband and they’ve recently moved to New York from Los Angeles. They’ve both been featured in American Apparel ads (I tried finding them to show you and ended up finding Landon’s Wikipedia page instead) as models (and Landon has just collaborated with them on a pair of tights!), and her art has been featured in Flaunt and N.E.E.T. (among others, yes?). She made tutorials on how to bouffant your ‘do and make yourself Heidi braids (though, it seems the videos are, unfortunately, private now :( – that stinks!), but I still haven’t quite got either of them down yet.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE KNOWS WHO SHE IS.

Justin Timberlake, a boy she’s never met or tried to stalk (that I know of), has followed her and Landon about as much as I have and even wrote about them on his blog! Her “(refreshingly) dirty feet” have become famous before I’ve had the chance to! Though, I must say that I feel a portion of celebrity for the mere fact that she’s linked me on her and Landon’s blogspot under the “Blogs to Read” (thank you!). Maybe Mr. JT has come across this ol’ thing?

Ok, now Agnes has jumped on my lap and connecting words together has begun to fail me. I’ll leave you with words that come to mind when thinking of Hannah: forest, chocolate, gingersnaps, frolic, dresses, kittens, far away lands, hair tangles, fairy tale. And now pictures:

Obviously, Hannah must begin a music career, as she’s already got amazing album covers.
