Up next: Disney’s A Christmas Carol is in theatres November 6th, and I Love You Phillip Morris – also starring Ewan McGregor – has finished making its festival rounds (to great reviews) and will come out in February of 2010.
Why you crushin’?: well, this goes back a long ways. And, actually, it’s less of a crush and more of a “I want to have a My Two Dads family with him and my dad playing – er – both of my dads” type of thing. I first saw him in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and thought he was just about the funniest guy I’d ever seen. I’d recite the entire movie at all family gatherings. I’ve followed most of his career (I was just terrible at seeing movies years ago, so now I’ve got to catch up on the ones I missed!) and thoroughly enjoy everything he does. I know there is a lot of exhaustion about him, but I’ve never felt it. I will never get tired of his faces, his voices, his unending enthusiasm. Ashley and I have tickets to see a taping of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien while we’re out in Los Angeles (omg) this week (!!!) and, according to a few websites, Jim is one of the guests. I’m throwing up from excitement thinking about it!
