Why you crushin’?: ok, so I saw A Cinderella Story for some reason (I say this because I don’t care for HilDuff and I hate Chad Michael Murray), and surprisingly loved it. I thought the Byrdster was awesome, but then I sort of forgot about him. A few years later, he was on a new CW show called Aliens in America that has since been cancelled, but was the funniest and best show I’d seen in a really long time. Luke from Gilmore Girls played his effing dad!!! I can’t even tell you how sad I was when it was cancelled. Almost as sad as Pushing Daisies‘s cancellation. So, anyway, we give Cougar Town a shot this season and I get excited as frick because the kid is on this show! Honestly, I might’ve given up on it by now if he weren’t. Maybe. Busy Phillips, man, I can’t stand her.
I thouuuugghhhht he looked familiar! He was in a few episodes of Heroes, too, back when I had already given up on the show but still tuned in occasionally for some reason.
Also, this is sorta off topic, but I started reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman, and each chapter title in the book starts with “In Which…” Relation? Coincidence?
I gave up on that show, too, which is sad because it started out pretty great!
And, omgosh, totally a coincidence, but I love it! I’ve really wanted to start reading all of his work. I’ve only read one of his picture books thus far, haha!
Well, admittedly this is my first Neil Gaiman book -evah-, so you’re at least one picture book ahead of me!
I used to marvel at how good the first season of Heroes was compared to every episode after that, and wonder how on Earth a show that started out so good could turn so bad. I’m starting to think the first season was a pure fluke.
Also, if you Google “Heroes sucks” you will find that we aren’t alone! :P
That’s exactly how I felt! I think I gave up on season two about three episodes in? I just couldn’t take it anymore. And the whole Hayden-Milo real-life relationship just really creeped me out, haha!
